Background

brand new website to be used for promotional purposes. For Leisure
Rentals this was the first stage of online involvement. for this reason
a simple information based website is the perfect solution.
Challenges and Opportunities
The website need to communicate professionalism and causality at the same time.
Options
Three designs and three options were put forward. Each of the designs took a different approach and were based on sound user interface research.
The three maintainence options proposed were:
- My content management solution;
- Dreamweaver; and
- Another third party online content editing option.
Solution
After discussing a number of options with the management team we decidied upon a Macromedia solution. With the possibility of moving forward to Macromedia's content management system at a later date.
Benefits
With only a little training, Leisure Rentals is able to keep their website up to date. Furthermore, there is an upgrade path to Macromedia contributor for future growth.
